Confused on this day........ Finally finshed most of the site. A sense of relief.
I seem to be battling either a fear factor or a huge unrest. It's like I know what it is that I have to do...as when it comes to making money and a few other things...but I just can't get it done. All those things that don't make money...or favors for others...I seem to get done real fast. Strange feeling. And I don't know what it is or why.
Now that I have the website done...or most of the way done...I'll concentrate on my business. Have new books to make for clients/poential clients...and candles to make also |

I was looking at this post about boycotting R. Kelly and I took the time to post a reply....but it just got to me even more as I thought about it.
You know...I think about baseball and how they stopped Pete Rose dead in his tracks. Here...there was a law...you can't gamble on baseball and your a coach/player. It's against the law PERIOD!!! And...a white ran organization, Major League Baseball, decided to stick to it's guns - prosecute Pete Rose - he served time - got a fine - and will not be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame!
So...Why can't BLACK FOLKS do the same? Why can't we stick to our guns also. Yeah...I know white folks buy R. Kelly music...but he's black and I'm black...so I have to stick 2 what I know! Why can't black folks stick together?
We talk about our past and what has happened because of slavery. We talk about hidden racism, the glass ceiling, not the best jobs, higher taxes on black areas, more liquor stores in minority areas......
But....But....now that we have the power to police our own by either using or not using the mighty dollar....WE GIVE R. KELLY A PASS....DA HELL???
And why does R. Kelly get off for his repeated offense??? It's because of the dollar! You see...the record companies...who make the mighty dollar...don't want him in jail. Hell...He's a double platnum artist! They sell his CD for 15 bucks...he gets...oh..I don't know..2...maybe 3 bucks...and the record company keeps the rest. Actually...I'm being generous about how much he actually gets. But....for their interest...it's best to keep him out of jail. Now let this had been Prince. He would be in jail right now! Why...because he produces his music, makes his own CD's....and has his own distribution of those CD's without any RECORD COMPANIES! So...the record labels arent making any money off of him at all. They have no need to keep him out of jail. To sweep his indescretions uner the rug isn't advantagious to them.
So...R. Kelly gets off because he's a BLACK money generating WHORE!!! (dang...did I say that out loud) So...if you can be pimped by the establishment...and your on your knees for them on a constant...then you 2 can get a 'get out of jail free card' too.....
